Maximus Transilvania Plantation was founded in 2011 by an agronomy graduate who enjoys outdoor work. It was a challenge to set up the plantation, but with the help of the EU funds, bank loans and we managed to finish the investment in 2015.
Currently the plantation is in the care of 2 people permanently and we work with day laborers occasionally for weeding and harvesting.
The varieties planted are Duke, Nelson and Eliot and the estimated production in 2021 is about 20 tons.
